Music visualizers, in your browser.
Free, forever.
Drop a track, layer reactive effects, and export an MP4. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing uploads.
Why Zestial
Three things you don't have to negotiate with.
Runs in your browser
WebGL-powered. No install, no plugins, no account.
open zestial.app/app, that's it
Your files stay local
Audio never leaves your machine. We can't see it because we never have it.
analysis, rendering and export all run client-side
Free forever
Every effect, every overlay, every export. The paid tier is cloud sync, nothing else.
optional cloud sync for $4 USD/mo · or not
Effect gallery
Forty-two effects. Infinite presets.
Every parameter can bind to RMS, peak, beat, or any FFT band. Mix layers like a DAW.
How it works
A real tool, not a one-click toy.
Bind anything to anything.
Radius, rotation, blur, particle speed. Every numeric parameter can be a constant or bound to an audio feature. Pick a source (RMS, peak, beat, beat phase, or one of seven FFT bands), set a range, pick a response curve. The visualizer reacts to what's actually in the track.
7 frequency bands · 3 curves · per-binding smoothing
Layer like a DAW.
Stack effects on top of one another. Reorder by dragging. Toggle visibility per layer. Add post-processing (bloom, chromatic shake, vignette) and metadata overlays (title, artist, time, album art) in the same stack.
30 scene effects · 12 post effects · 15 overlays
What you preview is what you export.
The export pipeline computes every frame at exact
t = frame / fps,
then captures at your chosen resolution and muxes with the audio into a
fresh MP4. Frame-accurate and deterministic.
WebCodecs · hardware-accelerated H.264 · up to 4K
For your next release
Made for the way you release.

Frequently asked
Questions, answered straight.
Yes. Every effect, every overlay, every export. Forever. Cloud sync is the only thing that costs anything, because cloud sync costs us money to run. If we ever change that, this FAQ entry gets a strikethrough. Not a quiet edit.
Onto your screen and into the MP4 you export. Nowhere else. Zestial has no server-side audio pipeline. There's nowhere for your files to go even if we wanted them.
Chrome, Edge and Opera have the best support. They ship WebCodecs, which Zestial uses for hardware-accelerated MP4 export. Firefox and Safari can run the live preview but their export support varies by version.
Yes. The videos you make are yours. Use them for releases, reels, paid client work, whatever.
Not yet. The source is closed while the platform is still being built out. Opening it is the intent once it has settled, under a licence that keeps it available to musicians without letting it be repackaged as a paid product. No date promised. One thing is settled either way. The videos you export are yours, commercially, forever.
Yes. The Custom Effects editor lets you write GLSL fragment shaders with live preview. Your custom effects save with your project.
Yes, properly. Phones get a purpose-built shell. Load a track, apply a Look, add and reorder layers, and bind parameters to the audio, all with the canvas live above your thumb. The node graph and the GLSL editor stay on desktop, where there's room for them. Export works where the phone's browser can encode, and we check before you start rather than after.
